Dear John,

March 25 marks one year since TYP officially became an organization – in other words, it’s our birthday! In the words of poet Toi Derricotte, “joy is an act of resistance,” and we’re glad to have something to celebrate in the midst of a barrage of threats to our country, and especially to young people.

We know that youth have led our country through the most volatile moments in history. At the National Collaborative for Transformative Youth Policy (TYP Collaborative), we work alongside today's young people to envision a liberated future of abundance, community, and joy and advocate for the policies that will get us there.

Our birthday wish is to raise $10,000 by April 8 to help us build power with young people to work toward that future. Can you help us reach this goal by creating and sharing a personal fundraising page?
