Let’s call it like it is: Chuck Schumer surrendered.

After promising to hang tough with his fellow Democrats against a funding
bill that would hand Trump and Elon more power, he voted with Republicans,
turning his back on Democrats.

It’s hard to have faith when your own side won’t even fight! But
nonetheless, we cannot give up. What’s the alternative? Accept this
lawless, corrupt regime as our future? Fuck that!

Texas is the front line in the fight against MAGA. This is where their
most hateful ideas have been allowed to grow. So no matter where you live,
our future is in the hands of Texas voters.

That’s why Powered by People is running trainings to become a certified
Volunteer Deputy Registrar and will soon deploy them to find Democrats who
are eligible to vote but unregistered. If we are going to win important
2026 elections, we must add and stay in touch with Democrats who can make
the difference.
