Donald Trump wants to be a dictator, JOHN.

He said as much on the campaign trail that he would be a dictator on Day One. And he has lived up to that promise.

He has:

• Issued dozens of executive orders illegally shuttering departments that were created and funded by Congress
• Refused to spend money Congress has allocated because he just doesn’t want to
• Pivoted the United States away from a democratic leader of the free world to taking Putin’s side
• Threatened allies like Mexico, Canada, and the EU with economic AND military warfare
• Deported people without allowing them due process under the law
• Ignored judicial orders and threatened to impeach judges he doesn’t like

Republicans are cowards and they have made it clear he can do whatever he wants and they will defend it. They’re fine with Trump becoming King.

But where are Democrats? For a party that called Trump and threat to democracy and a wannabe dictator, Democrats have not responded appropriately to his actions, which have brought his dictatorial aspirations closer to reality.

At No Surrender, we won’t support every Democrat just because they have a D next to their name. We will support the ones who demonstrate that they’re ready for this moment, that they’re ready to fight tooth and nail FOR the American people, FOR the constitution, and FOR democracy.
