Our fight continues to build a strong resistance against the current administration, and that starts with the 2025 General Elections here in Virginia. We must ensure that a Democratic Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, and House of Delegate Majority is secured to defend Virginia.

This week candidates from across the Commonwealth submitted their petitions to be on the 2025 Democratic Primary Ballot this June which is just around the corner (May 2nd).

AYD will be holding a series of primary forums for the Offices of the County Board (Member At-Large), School Board (At-Large), House of Delegates (HD-1) over the coming weeks for you to engage with candidates seeking the Democratic nomination.

VAYD Convention

AYD takes on Harrisonburg! We will be heading to Southwest Virginia for our annual convention. We have registered all confirmed and interested delegates. You are still Welcome to attend on your own merit, however if you are interested in attending you must register by March 21st at 11:59 PM!  

Blue Victory Dinner is Arlington Democrats' biggest event of the year, and this time, we're gathering under the theme: Fight for Freedom: Rise Up, Virginia. 

Join us for an evening with inspiring Democratic leaders and old friends to honor our Volunteers of the Year and renew our commitment to the fights ahead—standing up against the Trump administration and taking back the Governor's mansion for Democrats.
