Dear Friend --

As we continue to see civil unrest across the country, and we work to keep our community safe, we must remember we are still in a health crisis.

Today Long Beach reopened most of our City-run COVID-19 testing sites with modified hours. It’s critical we continue testing residents.

We are also expanding the accessibility of COVID-19 testing with a new mobile service for residents who are not able to travel, including individuals at personal residences and those at skilled nursing facilities, long-term care facilities and sober living homes.

Test sites that are open, with modified hours, include:

  • Long Beach City College - Pacific Coast Campus (1305 E. Pacific Coast Hwy.)
  • Cabrillo High School (2001 Santa Fe Ave.)
  • Jordan High School (6500 Atlantic Ave.)
  • Jordan Plus (171 W. Bort St.)
  • St. Mary Medical Center (1050 Linden St.)

New appointments are required for all testing sites and can be made online or by calling 562.570.INFO (4636).

The Rapid Assessment Clinic at the LBCC Pacific Coast Campus also reopened today. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It's important everyone remembers to practice physical distancing, wear face coverings anytime you are within six feet of anyone you don't live with, and wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. We all have a responsibility to help prevent the spread of this disease.

Thank you,

Mayor Robert Garcia
