Huldah's path to public service was far from easy. As a first-generation immigrant from Kenya, she saw firsthand how policy decisions impact real lives. Inspired by Sen. Paul Wellstone, who once helped Huldah’s own family from deportation, she ran for office to pay it forward — to be the advocate that so many immigrants need.
