Friend,
Yesterday, Donald Trump rescinded a landmark executive order that prohibited federal contractors from having segregated restaurants, waiting rooms, and drinking fountains — an order signed by President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1965 to end government-sanctioned segregation.
Let that sink in: Trump has declared that the federal government will now tolerate segregation — and even do business with companies that promote this explicit racism.
This is horrifying. This is 1950s America all over again.
We know Trump will only be in office for four years — but the damage he causes could last for decades. That’s why we need to act now to protect Arizona’s anti-segregation and anti-discrimination laws.
Make no mistake: If Republicans take control of the Governorship and other statewide offices in 2026, they’ll follow Trump’s lead — opening the door for discrimination and bigotry right here in Arizona.
We cannot let that happen. We must protect Governor Hobbs, Attorney General Mayes, and Secretary of State Fontes in 2026. We need leaders who will stand up for equality — not drag us back to the days of segregation.
Donate today to help us gear up for 2026. Your support will help us protect Democratic incumbents, flip the state legislature, and drive up voter turnout to take back Congress.
We’ve come too far to go back now — let’s stand together for liberty, justice, and freedom for all.
