John,

The Trump administration’s relentless attacks on immigrants continue to escalate, putting families at greater risk of being targeted, detained, and denied access to legal support—regardless of their legal status or claims to remain in the U.S.

At the NYIC, we’re committed to ensuring our communities are informed, prepared, and empowered in the face of federal immigration enforcement. That’s why we’ve created comprehensive Know Your Rights resources designed for everyone, regardless of immigration status, to learn from and share.

Our resources, tailored for New York State and available in multiple languages, include:
* Wallet cards with phrases stating your rights
* Know Your Rights presentations
* Guides on interacting with law and immigration enforcement
* And more!

Since Trump took office, the NYIC has hosted over 120 Know Your Right trainings across New York State, ensuring our communities understand that everyone in this country has constitutional rights.

Now, as Trump allows ICE to target sensitive locations like hospitals, schools, and places of worship for enforcement activities, it’s more important than ever to know and support your immigrant neighbors with this critical information.

In light of the current political climate, and the many ways in which this administration is using the levers of government to infringe upon our rights, there is a possibility that being prepared may not be enough.

However, we can help keep each other safe and ensure that everyone is as prepared as possible. Share these resources with your networks, and let’s continue to fight for justice and dignity for all.

New Yorkers Got New York!

In power,

Wennie Chin
Senior Director of Community and Civic Engagement
