Right now is a critical moment in the fight to protect our parks, forests, and public lands and ensure that we can continue to enjoy and explore them for generations to come.

If you haven't been keeping up with the news or feel like you don't know enough, that's okay! We'll start the Action Hour with a briefing from Sierra Club experts on the latest updates about Trump's destructive agenda and its impact on civil servants -- like the National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service staff -- visitors, and the ecosystems they protect.

Then, we'll walk you through two ways to fight back and take action together during the call: Action 1 and Action 2. Register now to join us on Wednesday, March 26.

We will be handwriting letters and/or creating artwork to show our Members of Congress how important public lands are to us! Please gather any supplies you will need, at least a pen and paper, before the action hour begins. You can also type up your letter on your computer or phone if you don't want to handwrite it.

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)'s actions are more than just political moves -- they directly attack the natural spaces we hold dear and threaten our rights to enjoy our public lands. Trump and the billionaires who bought access to him are systematically undermining our land management agencies, unjustly firing the workers who steward these lands, and leaving America’s national treasures unprotected.

But we can help stop it!

In last month's February Action Hour alone, more than 3,500 of you joined to learn how to make effective phone calls to our members of Congress and write letters to the editor to local news outlets. Thanks to you, we made over 4,000 phone calls to Congress and shared over 1,000 letters.

When they're back in DC, we'll need to keep up the pressure to urge Congress to protect our health and environment from corporate polluters who bought access to Trump, which means demanding they stop selling off our public lands to the highest bidder.
