Hello JOhn,

We are back in your inbox this week as we continue celebrating remarkable women like Siphiwe. Are you ready to hear an inspiring story?

In Gokwe North, Zimbabwe, Siphiwe, a mother and farmer, is transforming her family's life, one sunflower seed at a time ([link removed] ) . Her journey began with the Planting Seeds for Strong Communities project, a collaboration between Rise Against Hunger and in-country partner ADRA. Siphiwe gained invaluable agricultural training, learning to turn sunflower crops into cooking oil using an oil-pressing machine.

With her unwavering effort and newfound skills, Siphiwe has increased her family's household income by selling cooking oil and sunflower by-products within her community, opening doors to a brighter future. Her children can now attend school where they receive nutritious Rise Against Hunger meals ([link removed] ) made with locally sourced ingredients.

In honor of International Women’s Day, you have the power to extend this ripple of change ([link removed] ) by donating sunflower seeds, providing an artisan training grant or sponsoring a woman farmer like Siphiwe for just $1 a day for an entire month. Your support provides women with the resources and training they need to uplift their families and communities. Will you join us?
