Team,

Every day we see the disastrous consequences of Trump’s presidency. In the short time he’s been in office, he’s already tried to rip away fundamental things like child care and health care access that working people rely on.

Right now, the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, is trying to defund everything from Social Security to your public school. JD Vance recently claimed that federal judges “aren’t allowed” to check the Trump-Vance administration’s enactment of Project 2025. These are the very real circumstances we are living under right now.

But we are not powerless. Millions of people voted against Trump and his allies. There are millions of us who won’t stand idly by and let Trump and a Republican-controlled Congress do whatever they want.

We can — and will — fight back against Trump and his allies’ Project 2025 agenda. But to do that, we’ll need a strong, organized Democratic Party leading the way.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you today, team. The Democratic National Committee is the organization best positioned to move resources to the places they’re needed most in 2025, 2026, and beyond, as we work to elect the Democrats who will be a check on Trump’s power.

If holding Trump accountable and electing Democrats at every level matters to you, I’m asking you to chip in today to help:

Trump, Elon Musk, and JD Vance aren’t above the law. Our democracy is meant to represent the interests of all Americans, not just the rich. And I’m committed to fighting back alongside the millions of people who don’t see themselves represented in Trump’s America.

Thank you for joining me in this fight,

Tim
