Hi John,

Our right to vote is the foundation of our democracy -- and it’s never been more vulnerable.

We have a shameful history of voter suppression in this country that persists to this day, especially in communities of color -- and in the midst of a global pandemic that makes in-person voting risky, particularly for the elderly and other high-risk individuals.

This means that polling locations may be reduced, and in places where there are already fewer polling locations, that means that for many, voting may become inaccessible altogether.

We need to protect the right to vote. That’s why we’re demanding that Congress implement a universal vote-by-mail option in advance of the November elections -- will you add your name to our petition and join our call to action?

A universal vote-by-mail option ensures that every registered voter can get a ballot in the mail so they can vote from home. This allows us to exercise our civic duty while maintaining social distancing and keeping our communities safe..

Congress must implement universal vote-by-mail to protect the vote in November. Stand with Colin and demand that leaders put partisan politics aside to uphold the Constitution and protect our democracy.
