Folks, last week I introduced legislation to reinstate veterans fired by the Trump Administration, and I need your help to show strong support behind it.

President Trump has fired more veterans in his first few weeks in office than any U.S. President in our country’s history.
This is unacceptable.
These men and women have made enormous sacrifices for our nation, and instead of repaying them with gratitude and support, Trump is unceremoniously kicking them to the curb with his reckless and indiscriminate layoffs.
That’s why I introduced the Protect Veteran Jobs Act — legislation that would reinstate the veterans who were axed from their federal jobs as a part of the Trump Administration’s mass firings.
Every one of my colleagues should be able to support this legislation — but if we have any hope of passing it, we’re going to need a huge outcry of grassroots support.
Please sign my public petition to reinstate fired veterans today.
It’s a colossal affront to all patriotic Americans that this President, who has called servicemembers and veterans “loser” and “suckers,” is now going beyond hurling petty insults to actually putting their livelihoods at risk.
I won’t stand for it, and I hope you’ll join me in taking action today:
