Colorado Grassroots Republicans: Help Keep Trump’s MAGA Momentum!
Conservative Republicans have been amazed by President Trump’s second term. Stunning betrayals by our federal government and jarring corruption throughout the Deep State make us realize we ALL dodged a bullet. Trump’s victory and actions have saved us from a globalist takeover of our nation.
Grassroots Americans made it possible. Grassroots Colorado played a crucial role.
As the party gathers for county and state reorganizations, we should elect members who want to continue those successes, and whose goals are a conservative and growing party.
The evidence is absolute: Colorado’s GOP is conservative, and it is growing.
Did you know, under the previous administration, the COGOP lost 170,000 members?
Since March 2023, the COGOP gained back 11,000. Imagine how many more will come back in the next two years – if they see the COGOP is still conservative, supports Trump, and they see the Deep State is being revealed and destroyed.
We can best help President Trump by continuing the course we set in 2023. Grassroots county members elected a majority of principled, conservative officers and bonus members to the state party, who then actively participated in bold strategies to elect President Trump. In the course of those efforts, we gained a congressional seat and gained back 3 state house seats – after years of losing seats. Every. Single. Election.
Grassroots action nationwide got Trump in office. But don’t let anyone dismiss Colorado’s impact in that effort. Here’s what we accomplished:
A. The new, grassroots-dominant Colorado GOP fought a legal battle against Jena Griswold and Never-Trump Republicans who filed a lawsuit to keep Trump off the ballot. They chose Colorado for a reason: years of Democrat governors and weak opposition turned our legal arena into their best hope to win. Their victory here could have kept Trump off the ballot in other states.
WE won. Trump stayed on the ballot. And we see results of his victory every day! Would we have learned of the fraud at USAID with anyone other than Trump? Would any other nominee have beaten Biden/Harris? Would we have learned the New York Times and Politico were paid millions of YOUR tax dollars to undermine conservative candidates and our values? Unlikely.
B. After Trump was on the ballot here and all 50 states, the Colorado GOP did something bold:The State Central Committee voted 150 to 80 to endorse Trump before the primary. It was unprecedented, but it proved to be brilliant: It helped Trump win the nomination in record time. It was important enough to Trump that he mentioned it on Inauguration Day. The shortened time to his nomination was especially important since Trump had to run against Biden AND Harris, and they had wildly corrupt campaigns collecting billions of dollars from George Soros and China.
C. Shortly thereafter, in April 2024, delegates to the State Convention voted nearly unanimously to order the State Central Committee to Opt-Out of all open primaries in perpetuity. That Opt-Out action is intended to remove control from corrupt Secretary of State Griswold and to ensure Republican control of our party, without interference or outside corruption.
There is still work to be done to ensure only Republicans chose our nominees to fight corrupt socialists who have used our money and the Deep State to hold power and enrich themselves.
Those degenerates are more corrupt than any of us knew, and we learn more each day. We must destroy this evil.
Grassroots control of our party is the best path to victory over evil and corruption. We must not fall prey to fake calls for unity, or demands to “reach across the aisle”. Failure to fight for our beliefs, and caving to emotional arguments is what brought us to this misery in the first place.
We are still involved in legal battles to Close the Primary and to Opt-Out. If we are going to defeat the Deep State, I firmly believe those lawsuits must continue, and the next COGOP administration must support it. That will only happen if grassroots conservatives prevail.
At the county party reorganization meetings, I encourage all grassroots conservatives to run for voting positions in order to influence the state party. I would encourage everyone to ask each candidate if they voted for Trump, and if they would continue the lawsuits to Close the Primary and to Opt-Out. There are still many out there who fail in their answers.
If we continue the grassroots conservative path we started in 2023, we can set the stage for a positive 2026 midterm election – exactly when President Trump will need us the most.
In God We Trust, and May He Renew His Protection Over Our Damaged-But-Recovering Nation.
