democracy right before he took office last month.

The $TRUMP crypto-currency could basically turn the US presidency into a
corruption marketplace.

The US Congress needs to ban Trump’s crypto and take immediate action to
protect US democracy, but it can only happen if we crank the pressure to
11 on Trump’s very first days in office.

Donald Trump just put the USA up for sale with his ‘meme coin’, a
crypto-currency that’ll make him billions as more people buy it. Here’s
why it’s bad: crypto transactions are anonymous, so anyone, including the
world’s most dangerous individuals and organizations, can shadily deposit
money right into Trump’s pockets in exchange for favors—geopolitical,
corporate, and personal.

What sounds like a dystopian nightmare is the harsh reality of what
Trump’s second term could look like if we don’t force the US Congress to
take urgent action. And make no mistake, protecting democracy is a
bipartisan issue that goes far beyond anyone’s stance on cryptocurrency.

This is Trump’s first couple weeks in office and we need to start
resisting NOW. That’s why we need an immediate ban on cryptocurrency for
elected officials and government workers. No secret wallets, no backdoor
deals lost in the blockchain. We need governments that work for the
people—not for the highest bidder.

US and beyond. 

His oligarch friends are bracing for complete chaos, for as long as they
can make a profit off it. But everyone else can’t afford to live 4 more
years of Trump’s unchecked far right politics. Hundreds of millions will
