John,
Disinformation activists are relentless. That’s why I need 100 people to step up today and help fuel our fight against false election narratives.
Our opponents are well-funded, and they’ll do everything they can to spread lies about our elections.
I refuse to let that happen—and I know you do, too.
Will you be one of the 100 people to step up this week with a $10 donation? Every contribution helps us push back against disinformation and protect Minnesota’s elections.
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed now. |
Already this year, we’ve seen unprecedented misinformation being spread:
🚨 January 6th pardons: President Trump granted clemency to over 1,500 people convicted of crimes during the attack on our Capitol—including leaders of far-right extremist groups. These aren’t “political prisoners.” These are, in many cases, domestic terrorists and at least two have re-offended since their release.
🚨 Kristi Noem’s confirmation for Secretary of Homeland Security Secretary: In her confirmation hearing, she suggested that fighting election disinformation is “mission drift.” Now that she leads DHS, we could lose one of our strongest federal agencies in the fight against election disinformation.
🚨 Disinformation threats are only growing: We know that bad actors—from foreign adversaries to election deniers—will continue to spread falsehoods in the months ahead. The only way to combat it is with truth, resources, and a commitment to protecting our democracy.
🚨 On Day One on the job, Attorney General Pam Bondi disbanded a critical FBI task force on foreign influence.
This decision could make our democracy less safe. I know we can hit this goal together. Please chip in $5 or whatever you can this week and help me fight back against disinformation.
Thank you for standing with me.
— Steve
