* Immediately upon taking office, the Trump administration took action to end birthright citizenship and tear families apart. Within two hours, our legal team sued to stop these attacks on our immigrant community.

* Just two days later, we sued to stop the Trump administration's plan to expand fast-track deportations without a fair legal process – an attack on our very Constitution.

* This week, the ACLU sued to stop Trump's efforts to end asylum at the border, a move that would put thousands of lives at risk.

* To protect our LGBTQ community, this week, we sued to defend gender-affirming medical care for transgender people nationwide – then again to block the government from denying accurate passports to trans people.

* And we're not just filing lawsuits. At the same time, ACLU organizers are on the ground in communities, sharing Know Your Rights information regarding interactions with ICE and law enforcement and organizing volunteers nationwide.
