Jess is on-track to become the first openly LGBTQ woman elected to the Pennsylvania state legislature AND the first openly autistic person elected to a state legislature anywhere in the U.S. She trounced her opponent Heather Kass, who posted transphobic and pro-Trump messages on Facebook.
