Hi John,
With over 460 anti-LGBTQ+ bills introduced in state legislatures across the country, the pressure on leaders of our movement has never been greater. They are on the front lines—organizing communities, pushing back against harmful policies, and keeping their organizations strong.
That’s why, for over a decade, Equality Federation’s New Executive Director Intensive has been a cornerstone of our Leadership Development program. Strong leaders are the foundation of sustainable movements, and we are committed to ensuring they always have the tools they need to succeed.
This year, nine new Executive Directors from across the country gathered for three days of deep conversation, learning, and skill-sharing. Together, they gained and shared tools for leading during a crisis, financial and organizational planning, and team management — walking away with new strategies, stronger connections, and the reassurance that they are not in this fight alone. Our biggest takeaway from this experience was profound yet simple: Leading doesn’t have to be lonely.
