I testified before the Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government earlier this month to raise my concerns about the lack of transparency and oversight from DOGE.

I’m all for making government more efficient and less wasteful. But DOGE has made highly consequential decisions for millions of Americans with no oversight, transparency, or accountability. Families across the country are demanding answers to massive cuts to healthcare, education, food assistance, and so much more.

My bill, the CLEAR Act, would ensure that DOGE undergoes the same accountability measures as other government agencies. If there is fraud and waste, as Elon claims, the American people demand evidence.
