Sharice, like the vast majority of Americans, understands that Medicaid is not a waste. It’s a critical program that over 400,000 Kansans rely on every day to stay healthy. In KS-03 alone, it covers 41,000 children and 11,000 seniors. Without Medicaid, these Kansans would be forced to either pay exorbitant amounts for care — or forgo health care altogether.
Every day, millions of Americans rely on Medicaid to access affordable emergency room visits, dental care, long-term care for loved ones, and so much more. National Republicans may see that as wasteful — but Sharice knows the truth:
Medicaid is a life-saving program that should be protected — not gutted to pay for the costs of the GOP’s ultra-wealthy tax giveaway.
