Friend — Trump likes to paint himself as a populist. He campaigned as a so-called champion for the working class of America.

But the truth is, he only cares about himself and his billionaire buddies. And now, just two months into his term in office, Trump’s anti-worker agenda is clearer than ever.

His tariffs on our allies are already passing higher costs on to consumers and causing huge instability in financial markets. Anyone with a 401k or other retirement accounts has seen the stark effect of these tariffs just the past few weeks.

Trump and Republicans in Congress are pushing for a budget that would slash Medicaid for families, and they have made it clear that they want to come after your hard-earned Social Security and Medicare benefits as well.

He’s letting Elon Musk illegally gut programs and federal agencies that directly benefit low-income people and those struggling to get by.

And of course, he’s pushing for more tax cuts for billionaires like him and Elon, which would transfer more wealth from the bottom 99% to the top 0.1% of Americans. It’s immoral.

Donald Trump doesn’t give a damn about the working class.

It’s now the duty of our movement to expose this fraud for who he is, and win back the voters we need to elect a pro-worker majority.

We must offer an alternative agenda that speaks to the needs of regular folks: guaranteeing health care for all, securing and expanding Social Security benefits, raising the minimum wage, strengthening collective bargaining for workers, ensuring child care for families, and more.
