Rebecca's a community leader, a daughter of farmers, and a waitress by night. She understands the experiences of middle-class Midwestern communities because she has lived them.
Rebecca came within 3 percent of defeating Van Orden last year, while Trump was carrying the district by 7 percent. This overperformance speaks to the authenticity of Rebecca's story and her unique ability to connect with voters in a tough political environment.
Wisconsin families are already suffering the damage of the Trump-Van Orden-Musk agenda, and we have to flip the House in 2026 to get our country back on the right track. WI-03 will be one of the biggest House battlegrounds this cycle, in no small part because Derrick Van Orden continually reveals himself to be a petty extremist whose priorities are at direct odds with his constituents.
In the first few weeks of 2025 alone, he has voted to gut Medicaid. He canceled town halls at the last minute rather than face tough questions. He also found the time to go on LinkedIn and threaten a veteran who was fired due to Elon Musk's cuts.
People deserve better than this unaccountable, unserious "leadership." They need honest voices like Rebecca's.
Together, we're going to make sure she can fully expose Van Orden's record, define the narrative of the race early, and get over the finish line in 2026.
