Yesterday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced the arrest of a 48-year-old woman for providing an abortion in Houston.

This is the society Donald Trump and the Republicans want — health professionals being sent to jail for providing health care services.
I’m horrified and disgusted to see health care criminalized. And I’m sickened to think that this could happen here in our Commonwealth.
Abortion remains legal in Virginia — we’re the only remaining state in the South without an abortion ban. But MAGA extremists are threatening our providers. That’s why I wrote the bill to protect doctors providing reproductive health care from other states’ subpoena and extradition requests.
So why won’t Glenn Youngkin commit to signing my bill? The answer: He is too right-wing for Virginia. And that’s why I’m running for Lt. Gov — to flip VA blue and ensure health care access for all.
