John —
The news about the United States Postal Service has been alarming, to say the least. Take a look at some recent headlines:

And earlier this week, Elon Musk called for it to be privatized:

For years, thousands of other grassroots supporters like you have joined me in calling for USPS Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to resign.
Louis DeJoy was bad. Privatizing the Postal Service would be far worse.
If Trump and his ultra-wealthy advisors have it their way and privatize the Postal Service, it would end government support of this vital and quintessential American service. Seniors who depend on the postal service for medicine, small businesses who depend on it to deliver their packages, veterans who work for the postal service — all would be devastated, John. And Trump’s cronies would benefit by taking over the work and profiting from it.
We need a fully functional USPS that delivers mail and packages on time at an affordable price — not a private company that will gouge millions of Americans way more for its services or cut off delivery altogether for rural areas.
Join me in voicing your strong opposition to Trump’s plans to privatize the United States Postal Service. We need to protect the USPS from DeJoy, from Trump, and from an administration hell-bent on running the Postal Service into the ground.
Thank you for adding your name in support of this important cause.
— Adam
