Calling all future citizen advocates!
This special Kids at the Capitol Day is open to anyone, but targeted at the 3 rd through 6 th grade group to help them learn a bit about the legislative process, how laws are made, and who represents them. These are our future citizen advocates, and it’s never too early to start training them.

The day will include a tour of the Capitol building with all the historic references, a briefing with key legislators, and a chance to visit their own representatives. Bring the whole family and enjoy getting to know your Texas government, it’s rich history and the incredible opportunities we have as citizen advocates, old or young!

Tuesday Mar 25, 10:00 AM, Capitol Rotunda
