John,
The Trump administration’s attacks on the trans community are very visible. From illegal executive orders to baseless transphobic remarks at the State of the Union, Trump is determined to erase us.
We need each other right now more than ever . We need to resist. We need to resist visibly. We need to resist together. At A4TE, we’ve got plenty of ways to offer for you to resist, but this Trans Day of Visibility, we’re asking you to be visible. Bring your community together and fundraise for trans rights.
That’s why we’ve made How to Fundraise for Trans Rights , a simple guide to help you turn any occasion into an opportunity to support our movement. From sending concert proceeds, to a birthday fundraiser, to something as simple as a bake sale—any amount of fundraising for A4TE is deeply impactful and spreads the word about our movement.
Our opponents have deep pockets and loud megaphones. But we have each other. Provide your community the opportunity to do some good this Trans Day of Visibility by hosting a fundraiser for A4TE. Supporting trans rights, a true act of resistance.
We’re calling on our community to raise $2,000 this month. Will you answer the call? There are several easy ways. Start your own fundraiser today on our Tiltify page here. They can try to erase us, but we will always be here, visible, alive, fighting for hope.
With gratitude,
Victoria Foster (she/her)
