John,

Seven years ago, I sat in a classroom as a gunman tore through my high
school. Days later, I organized 100 of my classmates and traveled to
Tallahassee to demand action — determined to make sure no other community
had to experience what we did.

We sat across from lawmakers who had taken millions from the NRA — people
who looked us in the eye and told us nothing would change. We refused to
accept that. We fought. And we won. We forced Florida to raise the minimum
age to buy all firearms from 18 to 21 — one of the most significant gun
safety laws passed in the wake of the shooting at my school.

Now, Ron DeSantis and his allies are trying to repeal it.

A new bill moving through the Florida Legislature would lower the age to
buy rifles and shotguns back down to 18, undoing the very first law we
fought for after Parkland. If it passes, more teenagers — just like the
shooter at my high school — will be able to legally buy assault-style
weapons in Florida.

At the same time, Trump is gutting gun safety at the federal level. He
shut down the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention and signed
executive orders threatening critical safety regulations on ghost guns and
other firearm restrictions.

They are daring us to let this happen. We won’t.

Since that first march, we’ve helped pass over 300 gun safety laws. But
the gun lobby never stopped. And now, with Trump back in power, they think
they can wipe out everything we fought for.

us fight back.

On March 24, we mark seven years since the first March For Our Lives.
Seven years since millions of young people stood up and forced this
country to listen. We are still here. We are still fighting. And we will
not let them take us backward.

Your Personal Invite To the Movement Fund 💌💙

At March For Our Lives, we call our monthly supporter program The
Movement Fund.

Why are monthly recurring donors so important? The amount of one-time
individual donations we receive as an organization varies vastly from
month to month.

Without a steady stream of monthly donations coming in our door, it
would be impossible to accurately plan our budgets, create long-term
strategies to win a future free from gun violence, plan and execute
on-the-ground organizing efforts, recruit and train more gun safety
champions, and more.

[ [link removed] ]One of the best ways that you can help sustain our movement is by
becoming a recurring monthly donor. Can you sign up today?
