Dear Friend,
I am humbled and honored to be your Democratic nominee for Indiana’s First Congressional District.
This is a team effort, and we would not have achieved this victory without the incredible support from my family, including my wife Jane, my daughters, and my mother and father, State Senator Frank Mrvan, who taught me the value of public service.
I am grateful for the countless hours and dedication of our relentless campaign members and volunteers. Their efforts to make sure everyone in Northwest Indiana knew about our campaign was essential to our success and turning out the vote.
Additionally, I continue to be in awe of all of my vocal supporters, including the resilient members of the United Steelworkers, the International Longshoremen’s Association, the American Federation of Teachers Indiana, and numerous prominent leaders and Democratic Precinct Organizations throughout our region, including the Gary Democratic Precinct Organization. I thank all of them for standing with me, and I will continue to stand with you as your Member of Congress.
Further, I would be remiss if I did not thank Congressman Pete Visclosky for his endorsement and vocal support. He continues to provide all of us with the example of what public service and commitment to Northwest Indiana looks like, and I look forward to continuing to learn from him as we move forward.
And finally, I want to thank you, the active voters and participants in our democracy. This has been a campaign that has focused on the people of Northwest Indiana, and I deeply appreciate your support and engagement in this campaign and the future of Northwest Indiana.
This is a pivotal moment for our region and our nation, and as we approach the November election, I will continue to have the conversations that are necessary to bring our region together, address injustice in our communities, and create more opportunities for quality education, good-paying jobs, and affordable healthcare for all.
Thank you for being a part of Team Mrvan! Onward to November!
In service,
Frank
