As Nashville continues to grow, we need transportation that allows residents to get to work, around town, and to their homes safely, cost-effectively, and in a timely manner. Nashville cannot wait another five years for a transportation plan. As Mayor, I am committed to developing a people-first transportation plan that upgrades our bus system, limits construction lane closures, utilizes smart traffic signals, make pedestrian routes safer, encourages alternative transportation, and create a Nashville Department of Transportation.
