Dear Friend --

Tonight, Wednesday June 3rd, all 88 LA County cities, including Long Beach, will be under curfew from 9 pm to 5 am. We understand it’s a huge challenge for many, but it’s a joint regional decision for the safety of our city and our neighbors across the county.

We had another safe night last night in Long Beach, and thanks to you and our public safety officers that will continue. They continue to work hard and we appreciate them. Please know that these curfew decisions are being made in conjunction with regional partners and law enforcement agencies.

Our top priority is to keep people safe and we appreciate your understanding.
