At CPAC, Trump boasted about how he's "moving swiftly" to save the U.S. economy from the so-called "train wreck of inflation." When in reality, he continues to make empty promises. Since he was elected, the economic situation for millions of Americans is only getting worse.
Polls are showing what many of us already know: Trump isn’t doing enough to fight inflation. In fact, nearly 2 out of 3 Americans believe his actions have been insufficient, and his approval ratings are underwater.
The numbers don’t lie.
- A recent CNN poll shows that 62% of Americans feel Trump is failing to address inflation.
- Bloomberg reported that consumer fears of rising prices due to Trump’s tariffs are growing.
- And even the Washington Post found that 53% of Americans disapprove of how Trump is handling the economy.
This isn't just a political issue—it's a matter of people's livelihoods. Americans are struggling to make ends meet while Trump's administration continues to push policies that hurt everyday people, while the billionaires that surround him are rewarded with more and more tax cuts.
But we don’t have to accept this failure.
