Discover how you’re helping improve coverage of executive orders
Recently, GLAAD announced findings of a new study, illustrating missteps and areas of improvement for six major mainstream media print and wire outlets. Our latest analysis reveals a troubling gap—only 13 out of 35 major news stories on Trump’s anti-transgender executive orders included transgender voices. GLAAD shared findings and recommendations with media outlets to improve their coverage. Thanks to supporters like you, GLAAD is holding the media accountable and offering actionable feedback. Stand With Us for LGBTQ Equality in 2025
The danger is mounting with hundreds of anti-LGBTQ legislative bills, a tactic that fuels increased — and sometimes fatal — violence towards LGBTQ people, including bullying, targeting of Pride events, bomb and mass shooting threats, and more. But GLAAD’s 40 years of experience and media advocacy expertise means we’re prepared to face it all. Make a donation to GLAAD to amplify our ability to help us fight misinformation and hate, respond to rapid news, and change our culture toward progress.
