Yesterday, a Florida Senate committee PASSED Senate Bill 1118—a disastrous bill that would wipe out protections for ALL agricultural land in our state, paving the way for high-density cluster housing and multi-family apartment complexes to overrun our rural communities.
This is an all-out attack on Florida’s agriculture, and we can’t let it stand!
RINO Randy Fine voted YES on this bill, and it’s being pushed hard by Lake County State Senator Keith Truenow, who’s shamelessly cheering for turning our farmland into “affordable” apartment sprawl.
Next week, the Florida House will take it up, and Representatives Sam Yarkosky and Nann Cobb—both bought off as usual—have already signaled they’ll support this travesty.
