Shortly after getting married, everything in Kai’s* life changed.
Like so many women in tough places, Kai felt intense pressure to marry. But soon after her wedding, she began to experience spiritual oppression.
In her closed country, it is not uncommon for people to experience sickness and demonic possession. Many worship spirits. And when they get sick, they go to the local witch doctor for help. Kai tried everything to get well, but nothing helped.
When the local Unto team came to Kai’s village to drill a new water well, they also shared about Jesus.
The people were so grateful for the clean water and also became interested in His eternal hope. Kai became so curious that she went to the local house church to ask for prayer.
As the church members prayed for Kai, a miracle happened. She was healed, and the demons afflicting her immediately entered two pigs — killing the pigs!
In the midst of her newfound freedom, Kai believed in Jesus. When her husband found out, he too began going to church and trusted in Christ. Today Kai and her husband host a small house church in their home!

Our partners in unreached regions like this one are seeing remarkable miracles — like the ones we read about in the Bible. They are taking place as you help bring water and the message of hope to those who have never heard.
Due to $120,000 in matching funds, your gift today will go twice as far to help drill new wells, and repair broken ones, in unreached communities like Kai’s. Each well reaches a minimum of 500 people, so every gift makes a significant impact.
Over the next three months, Unto plans to drill or repair 39 wells in 14 countries. Many of these places are closed to the message of Jesus. In every country, people are experiencing water shortages.
Many families are forced to either drink dirty water — that could make them sick — or to deal with the devastating effects of thirst and dehydration.
