| Friends, here’s the truth: I will never back down from supporting the LGBTQ+ community and fighting for equality in Congress. This Pride Month, we explore the contributions put forth by LGBTQ+ Americans now, and before, that changed America for the better. There is still so much we need to achieve on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community, and I promise to continue the fight for equality as long as I am in Congress. My GOP opponents won’t make that same commitment, which is why they must be defeated.
