We hope you’re having a great summer and if you’ve got kids heading back to school soon, we wish you a wonderful start to a new school year!

This week there are two action items. The first action item will support the President’s new immigration rule, and the second item is continuing to fight back against gun control.

Action Item #1

We’re creating social media posts for you to use this week to support President Trump’s new immigration rule that “generally prevents aliens who are likely to become a public charge from coming to the United States, or remaining here and getting a green card.” We have included a couple in this email and will have more throughout the week on our This Week page. This has been the tradition of our immigration system since the beginning, and was codified into law in 1996, but the term “public charge” was not clearly defined. This new rule clearly defines it and makes it easier to enforce the 1996 law. Please help support this new rule on social media!

America has no obligation to take in #IllegalImmigrants. America ESPECIALLY doesn’t have an obligation to take in illegal immigrants who will be dependent on our government to take care of them. RT! #TeaParty #PublicCharges #IllegalImmigration

Action Item #2

Continue to utilize your Say No to “Red Flag” Laws guide this week. We can’t say this enough: The Republicans are perilously close to betraying us on our 2nd Amendment rights and we must ramp up the pressure to say no to any form of gun control!
