About Marcie Fallek, D.V.M, C.V.A
Marcie Fallek has been a practicing veterinarian for almost 40 years, specializing in holistic medicine for the past 30 years. She is one of the few truly holistic vets operating in both NYC and Connecticut. She has helped thousands of animals whose conditions had been deemed hopeless by her conventional colleagues.
Trained in a wide range of modalities, including acupuncture, classical homeopathy, cranial sacral therapy, Bach Flowers, nutrition and herbs, amongst others, Dr. Fallek has studied under the world’s top teachers in these fields.
She has contributed articles and commentaries to many of the top holistic animal magazines and books and has been featured in many newspapers including the New York Times. She was a columnist for 8 years for Dog’s Naturally, the #1 holistic dog magazine, staff writer for Creature Companions, India’s premier pet magazine, and contributing author for the best-selling book, Your Dog’s Golden Years. In addition, she has participated in several documentaries about holistic veterinary medicine and has been a guest on a number of TV shows, including CBS Saturday Early Show.
About Tony Lyons
Tony Lyons, President & Publisher, Skyhorse Publishing, an attorney, was Publisher at The Lyons Press between 1997 and 2004. He founded Skyhorse in 2006 and has been involved with every aspect of the book publishing process. Tony has steadily built the company from a start-up to an increasingly prominent mid-sized publisher.
