We know that you’re probably inundated with emails from every campaign asking to chip in a few dollars. And while these emails are important to helping us have the resources we need to win, we also want to send updates you actually care about.

That’s why last month, we sent our 2025 Priorities Survey, asking this grassroots team what you want to see in the emails we sent out, and the response was overwhelming. 

We got hundreds of replies from people who are fired up and ready to have their voices heard. A lot of these messages had a common theme so today, we wanted to highlight a few and respond directly:

Roberta replied: “Updates about what you and Dems are doing and practical suggestions for what the average person can do”

Eileen said: “A plan to stop Musk/Trump.”

Marty’s response: “Democratic plan to defeat Republicans/Musk/Trump.”

From Taylor: “Ways to fight that will be helpful. Information on opportunities to show up. A place to clarify information that we are not certain is factual.”

This type of energy is why Pat recently launched his “Patriot Weekly” newsletter, where he shares specific updates about what’s going on in Washington, in New York, and real, practical action steps you can take to fight back and have your voice heard. In his most recent newsletter, Pat talked about the impact cuts to HUD will have on the Hudson Valley, the harm of cutting free meals at schools, and the potential firings of up to 80,000 VA staffers.
