Only Five Days till the 2025 Chapter Convention! Saturday, March 22nd, 11am-4pm Seattle First Baptist (1111 Harvard Ave)
We are less than a week away from Seattle DSA's 2025 Annual Chapter Convention, and it is shaping up to be a big one! Multiple resolutions and bylaws amendments have been submitted by members and will be discussed and voted upon, educational and recreational activities are being planned, opportunities for new members to meet and socialize with existing members, and of course we have our candidates for Local Council elections!
Deadlines have passed for filing resolutions and bylaws amendments as well as for LC election nominations. Voting items for Convention can be found here.

Phonebank Delta Workers Tomorrow! This Tuesday, March 18th, 3pm-5pm
Did you enjoy phonebanking or canvassing this recent special election and want to keep the organizing energy going? Do you want to be a part of one of the largest union drives in the country?
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has reached out to DSA chapters nationwide to assist with the groundwork for their organizing drive among ramp, cargo, and tower workers at Delta Airlines!
This is a collaboration between IAM members at other airlines, Delta employees who want union representation, IAM organizers, and DSA members including Seattle DSA's own Labor Working Group. Our role is to help organizers reach workers outside the workplace because the airport is such a heavily surveilled environment.
We will be phonebanking Delta workers whose union authorization cards have expired. We are trying to get them to re-sign them as every card counts in nationwide union certification!
