Run for Something

Hi John --

I first met David Litt at a rehearsal for the White House Correspondents' Dinner, when he was a speechwriter for President Obama and I was "Luther, Obama's Translator." David's new book, Democracy In One Book Or Less: How It Works, Why It Doesn't, and Why Fixing It Is Easier Than You Think, comes out June 16 -- and until then, he's donating 100% of his royalties from pre-orders to Run for Something.

Tomorrow evening at 8pm eastern time, I'll be talking with David over Zoom about what he learned writing and researching his new book in an exclusive preview for Run for Something supporters, and he'll answer questions from the audience. I'm hoping you can join the conversation.

Democracy in One Book or Less event
In this difficult moment, it seems so important to me that we have the tools to understand the way our system of government really works -- and how we can restore our voice in 2020 and beyond. I've had a chance to read an advance copy of David's book, and it's full of practical information and hopeful ideas for our future. And Run for Something supporters in particular will love what he has to say about the importance of down-ballot races.

I hope you can join us tomorrow at 8pm eastern as we talk about building a politics -- and a country -- where every voice can be heard.

Thanks, and stay safe, everybody,

Keegan
