With Donald Trump’s return to power, women across the country are facing unprecedented threats to accessing lifesaving reproductive healthcare services. Since taking office, his administration has moved swiftly to undermine reproductive freedom in the U.S. and across the world:

Restricting abortion access. The Trump administration directed the Department of Justice to dismiss lawsuits that protect emergency abortion care, endangering women’s health nationwide.

Defunding essential services. Efforts are currently underway to cut funding for organizations that provide abortion services, such as Planned Parenthood, jeopardizing access to care for millions of women.

Reinstating the Global Gag Rule. This policy blocks U.S. aid to international organizations that provide or discuss abortion services, leading to reduced access to contraception and increased maternal mortality globally.

These actions are part of a broader agenda aimed at rolling back the clock and undoing decades of progress toward securing gender equality. Now more than ever, we need to elect strong Democratic women who understand their communities' needs and will fight to defend our rights from these attacks.
