The next Mayor of New York should be someone we can trust to lead our City forward. Someone who will lead with honesty and integrity. Someone who will treat others with respect.

Let me tell you, that sure isn’t corrupt Andrew Cuomo, who has spent nearly $60 million in your taxpayer dollars on legal bills associated with his personal scandals. This includes several associated with the 13 accusations of sexual harassment against him.

We need to call Cuomo out and hold him accountable. That’s why I signed this new petition calling on him to immediately return the $60 million to New York taxpayers. [[link removed]] Then I forwarded it to my friends and family to sign, too.

With that $60 million Andrew Cuomo stole from New Yorkers, we could have had 2,000 new Pre-K slots, 10,00 domestic violence shelter beds, or 2,400 supportive housing units – enough to stably house every single New Yorker with serious mental illness on our streets and subways right now.

Instead, New Yorkers paid for Andrew Cuomo’s personal legal fees. It’s wrong.
