It shouldn’t take a crisis to teach us our health care system is broken.
It shouldn’t take a crisis to teach us our health care system is broken.
If you have enough money, you can buy the best care in the world. If you’re an insurance company, you can even buy Congress.
That’s the focus of our first TV ad, “Broken.” Watch it here:
Our new ad goes up today, and we urgently need your help to keep it on the air.
Ballots drop on Monday, so we don’t have much time left.

Health care is a key issue in this race. I led the fight for mental health in Colorado, and
I’m the only candidate who supports Medicare for All.
Cory Gardner and John Hickenlooper not only oppose that plan (“socialism!” they cry), they parrot the insurance industry’s arguments against it. But their for-profit model is badly broken, and the pandemic has made it even worse:
- Half a million families go bankrupt each year—and 35,000 people die—because they can’t afford care.
- More than 72 million Americans find themselves uninsured or underinsured.
- As many as 43 million more may soon lose their employer-sponsored coverage.
That’s a disaster.
Please rush a donation of $5 or more right now so that we can make this message loud and clear.
When you’re fighting for your life, you shouldn’t have to worry about how to pay for it.
