Why This Training?

We are living in an increasingly difficult political moment—marked by reactionary politics, escalating climate crises, intensified repression, and the criminalization of communities. Many of us are engaged in critical defensive work, but how do we move beyond defense to build proactive, long-term strategies?

The Movement Strategy Advanced Training is a six-day intensive bootcamp designed to support movement leaders in:

✅ Developing strategies for the next 2-3 years—from small-scale actions to large mobilization campaigns, cooperative projects, mutual aid networks and movement-building initiatives.

✅ Understanding movement cycles and understanding the moment we are in—analyzing political landscapes and learning when and how to act.

✅ Being in community and finding hope—creating a space for movement leaders to reflect, grief, strategize and support each other in the work ahead.

Agenda Overview

CALENDAR3-13 ([link removed] )

CALENDAR3-19 ([link removed] )

The first three days focus on developing a clear analysis of how change happens and adapting strategic approaches to the political conditions we are navigating today. The last three days are dedicated to building and refining a new project—breaking it down into its core components, including its narrative, strategy, training program, action plan, and sustainability model.

Participants will leave with a concrete design that feels actionable and a blueprint outlining key next steps—whether to refine, test, or further develop their initiative.
