Dear John,
As a young, LGBT person of color, I know how important representation can be for others hoping to serve their country or make our party better. I’m also fortunate to be able to continue serving the 181st district in the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
What I know is that this party is at a turning point. With Trump’s second administration looming - and sometimes feeling worse by the day - I know that our same playbooks won’t work forever. This is our moment to collect ourselves and fight harder than ever before to make sure Democrats are winning up and down the ballot nationwide. This takes effort, money, and hard work. Democrats need to be doing continuous outreach, as voters on both sides of the aisle are already disapproving of his administration’s actions.
One thing we can do together is tip the scales in the Pennsylvania General Assembly. There’s a special election in March that could decide the control of the GA, as well as other reelection races on the state Supreme Court.
Could you rush a donation to my team so we can communicate to every voter in Philly about the upcoming election? Button: Support link. We know that every vote counts, even more so in special elections that regular voters may not know about.
