TSMC, the semiconductor manufacturer, announced it will invest an additional $100 billion to build three more semiconductor fabs in Arizona. This represents thousands of good-paying, high-quality jobs for Phoenicians, strengthening our entire economy. |
The Mayo Clinic, a nonprofit medical center, is investing $1.9 billion to expand its Phoenix campus, adding an estimated 3,500 jobs over the next decade. The campus, a hub for biotechnology manufacturing and research, serves nearly 750,000 patient appointments a year, and this expansion will allow the Mayo Clinic to serve even more Phoenix families. |
Arizona State University recently announced that Phoenix will be the home of its future state-of-the-art medical school. The campus will train future generations of physicians to combine medicine, engineering, technology, and humanities into their studies. Families in Phoenix and beyond will benefit tremendously from these investments and access to care. One headline that is clear: Phoenix is the city of the future.
