Tonight, we learned that we will not be moving on to November.

This is tough news to take, but I am not losing sight of what our campaign has accomplished. We created a Montana-driven movement that put the safety and privacy of our friends and neighbors at the core of our values.

And while we did not receive the news we wanted to tonight, I know that this is only the beginning. I promise you that I will never stop fighting for every Montanan. As a nurse, that training and passion to help others never goes away. And as an attorney and domestic violence survivors advocate, I'll always ensure the safety of all Montanans, especially women and children.

Our campaign was fueled by grassroots supporters, and we would not have gotten this far without you. I'm so proud of this campaign, and I can't thank you enough for your support. It has been an honor to work on this campaign with you.
