SIGN THE PETITION

Dear John,

Rumors fly every time a new children’s movie is released. "This film has a gay kiss." "That show is introducing a character with two dads." Parents scramble for answers, unsure of what their kids will be exposed to.

But why should we rely on internet speculation?

The Motion Picture Association (MPA) and its rating board, the Classification and Rating Administration (CARA), are responsible for informing parents about the content in children's media. They warn us about mild violence, brand placements, and even slapstick humor.

Yet, they refuse to disclose LGBTQ content in kids’ programming.

This is not transparency. This is deception.

CARA is supposed to be an independent body, but after months of attempting to contact them, we discovered the truth: CARA is not independent at all. Even the MPA’s own Washington D.C. office could not provide a working phone number for them. They are deeply embedded within the MPA—shielded from accountability while pushing an ideological agenda onto families.

We are not asking for censorship. We are asking for honesty.

Sign the petition now to demand that MPA and CARA add an LGBTQ content warning to all children's programming.

For over a decade, parents have petitioned Hollywood, Netflix, and Disney to stop forcing LGBTQ content into children's media. They ignored us. Instead, they doubled down—pushing controversial content into younger and younger audiences, hoping parents wouldn't notice until it was too late.

We see it. And we won’t stand for it.

MPA and CARA must stop hiding LGBTQ content in children's shows. If they believe in transparency, they will create a clear and visible content warning for LGBTQ material—just like they do for violence, language, and drug use.

Sign the petition now to tell MPA and CARA to stop deceiving parents and provide real transparency in children’s media.

If we win, parents across the country—and the world—will know exactly what’s in their child’s entertainment before they hit play.

If we lose, the MPA and CARA will be emboldened to push their agenda even further—removing parental choice and normalizing ideological indoctrination in the media targeting our youngest children.

But we won’t let that happen.

This is our moment to demand the respect and rights that parents deserve.

Sign the petition now to force the MPA and CARA to finally warn parents about LGBTQ content in children’s programming.
Standing for families,
Anna Derbyshire and the entire CitizenGO Team

P.S.

Once you’ve signed, please share this petition with as many people as possible. The more voices we have, the stronger our demand for transparency.
We will win this battle! Be with us when we have the victory!
