Message From The
President
Happy Women's History Month! This month and
beyond, we celebrate the incredible contributions of women throughout
history and recognize the women shaping our future. From trailblazers
in politics, science, and activism to the leaders in our communities,
women have been at the forefront of progress, breaking barriers and
driving change.
But celebrating
women’s history isn’t just about looking back—it’s about continuing
the fight for equity, representation, and opportunity. We must uplift
women’s voices, support policies that advance gender equality, and
ensure that the next generation of women has the resources and support
they need to thrive.
Here at
NJYD, we know that the fight for women's equality is nowhere near
done, but together, we can build a future where every woman has the
chance to lead, succeed, and achieve. Wishing every phenomenal women a
fantastic Women's History

Young Dem of the Month
Congratulations to our March Young Dem of the Month,
Devin
Mulroy! Devin is the newly elected
Central Vice President for the New Jersey Young Democrats. She is also
the President of the Monmouth County
Young Democrats, where she works to inspire and
empower the next generation of political leaders. A lifelong Monmouth
County resident, Devin is deeply committed to advancing women's rights
and social justice, supporting Democratic candidates at both the state
and local levels since an early age.
Devin currently serves as Chief of Staff to Assembly Members
Freiman and Drulis who represent Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and
Somerset counties. Prior to her current role, Devin graduated from
Baylor
University and began her public service career as
an intern in the Office of First Lady Tammy Murphy, focusing on
maternal health research and policy development. She then served as a
Senior Legislative Aide on Governor Phil Murphy's Legislative Affairs
team, contributing to key legislative initiatives and strengthening
ties between the Governor’s Office and state lawmakers.
A dedicated advocate for her community, Devin continues to
make an impact through her leadership and unwavering commitment to
Democratic values. Her work as both a political organizer and
legislative aide positions her as a rising star in New Jersey
politics. A huge congratulations to Devin on being our Young Dem of
the Month!

Politics, and Community" - an empowering event dedicated to uplifting
and connecting young women in politics.
This event will take place on March 29th at 1 PM in the
Busch Student Center at Rutgers University-New Brunswick.

engage with dynamic young progressive women making an impact in
